Congestion pricing

After years of planning and debate, congestion pricing arrived in New York City in 2025. Our work began the summer before, as we hoped to tell New Yorkers about the benefits of a program that had become a political flashpoint.

The campaign was built around three pillars: congestion pricing would make New York move faster, breathe easier, and work better.
